The WRX comes standard in Japan with a rear fog light that is integrated into the bumper. Unfortunately, here in the states, we get a plastic cover that looks out of place! Seems as though they get to keep all of the nice stuff overseas… Well here’s your chance to add back that feature with even more functionality. With the Driven Media F1 Style 4th Brake Light, not only do you get an additional light that illuminates when you turn your headlights on, the light will flash when you step on the brake to alert those behind you that you’re slowing down or coming to a stop. There are a lot of distracted drivers out there nowadays so don’t let yourself become victim to a rear end collision by doing everything you can to ensure that those behind you can see you!

Installation

  • Remove the pop clips underneath the center section of the rear bumper

  • Uninstall the plastic cover in the rear bumper by depressing the tabs on the back side and pushing it out

  • Carefully slide your new light into the open slot

  • Install the two included pop clips into the sides of the bracket to secure the light into place

  • Route the wiring from the new light into the trunk using one of the plugs that can be accessed behind the bumper

  • Install the included plug and play harness between the tail light and the OEM tail light harness (Removal of the trunk liner may be necessary to access the tail light harness)

  • Connect the wires from the plug and play harness to their corresponding wires from the new light

    • 4th Brake light Black Wire - Black Wire on Plug and Play Harness

    • 4th Brake Light Green Wire - Blue Wire on Plug and Play Harness

    • 4th Brake Light Red Wire - Red Wire on Plug and Play Harness
