Assistant Content Creator

I need your help! Over the last few years I have been sharing my passion for modifying cars on social media to an audience that continues to grow all while also dedicating the rest of my time to growing the Driven Media business. My goal has always been to create content that is authentic, informational, and relatable to the passionate car enthusiasts out there to show them that they can do the same modifications that I’m doing. This is where you come in because the demands of both content creation and Driven Media have grown exponentially. Driven Media is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Content Creator who will be responsible for producing engaging and informative content.  In this position you will be expected to research, write, film, edit, and publish various types of content pieces to our company’s web page and social media accounts.  You should have a deep understanding of our target audience and be able to deliver content that resonates with them. Additionally, as you’ll be Driven Media’s first employee there will also be times where you will need to wear many hats.  Duties such as order fulfillment, product receiving, and inventory management will also be part of your day to day tasks.  As we continue to grow, these duties will likely fall to another position and re-negotiation of the position can take place.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and publish engaging content for various platforms such as website, social media, blog, etc.

• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

• Collaborate with other teams such as marketing and design to create content that aligns with the company's goals and brand identity.

• Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content production and timely delivery.

• Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms to increase visibility and reach.

• Analyze content performance metrics such as views, engagement, and conversion rates to inform future content strategies.

• Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style.

• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and technologies to continuously improve content creation skills.

• Collecting merchandise from the pick list and safely packaging orders for fulfillment.

• Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.

• Assist in keeping an accurate inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.

• Assist with preparation of inventory such as kitting, repacking, or weeding of overlays.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Ability to create engaging and compelling content

• Experience with camera equipment and lighting

• Experience with post production editing software such as Lightroom and Premiere Pro or similar

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Portfolio of published articles or other content

• Experience with social media platforms and content promotion

• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Qualifications(Not Required)

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field

• Proven experience as a content creator, copywriter, or similar role

• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies

• Experience with content management systems
