The 2022+ Subaru WRX comes with some faux carbon fiber on few spots in the interior. This seems to have become common practice with some of the newer sports cars even though we find it a bit tacky. Luckily, with the Driven Media Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Trim Cover, you can get rid of that fake carbon and instead have a real carbon fiber accent on your steering wheel like should have came with!
Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Trim
Subaru hasn’t been known for their interior design and although it has improved, it’s still not the best. Their choice of faux carbon fiber accents around the interior of the car doesn’t help give it a more premium feel, but installing a real carbon fiber steering wheel trim cover will!
Installation Instructions
Prior to installing the carbon fiber cover, make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry.
Carefully peel the backing off of the double sided tape on the back of the cover.
Place the cover into position and press it onto the OEM unit applying constant pressure for at least 30 seconds.
The recommended ambient temperature for install is 70°F - 90°F to ensure proper adhesion.
