After a bit of a break, Yo finally got the BRZ and GT3 out to the same track for some testing! We get to see how much of the gap we have closed with the new parts we installed on the last episode and take a few hot laps around Sonoma Raceway. Things don’t go quite to plan, but we make the best of the weekend compiling data for the BRZ. 

Driven.Media continues its pursuit of GT3-level performance with its 2017+ Subaru BRZ Performance Package build, focusing on reliability and driver feel. After pushing the car hard at Laguna Seca, oil temperatures proved to be the first major challenge—addressed with a Jackson Racing Oil Cooler. Enhancements like Schroth ASM harnesses improved driver control, while CSG CP brake pads and a new Enkei TS-7 wheel and Kumho V730 tire setup elevated braking and grip. Each upgrade moves the BRZ closer to track-ready consistency while retaining street-friendly usability.

Join Yo as he tries his best to shake the rust off from 17 months away from the track to put down his fastest lap at the world famous Laguna Seca Raceway. We've done a few small updates to the car that we will cover in the video, go over baseline lap data from the GT3, jump in the BRZ to join Yo on some hot laps, and then go over what we learned and what is next for the BRZ in this series.
