It's no secret, as good as this Subaru BRZ tS is, we have a long way to go before it's anywhere near Yo's 997 GT3. We plan on taking our time to get there so lets join Yo in what he's got for the first round of BRZ mods.

First mods: Liveability Mods

First up are mods I call liveability mods.  Mods that are just going to make your life better living with your car day to day or when it’s time to work on the car.  Since we are going to be working on this car pretty often, I feel this first mod is a MUST HAVE.  Verus Engineering pinch weld pucks.  These slick little anodized pieces of aluminum will protect those flimsy pinch welds.  IF you’ve been messing with cars as long as I have, you guys all know that these pinch welds get gnarly after years of jacking the car up and down over and over again.  Also, this gives your jack a much safer and secure spot to lift from than that thin little strip of metal that is holding a couple thousand pounds…

Visibility Mods

Be seen and get other drivers attention. Today Yo is putting on an F1 Module, JDM 4th brake light, Clear sidemarkers, LED reverse lights all directly from Driven.Media.

Performance Mods

Finally, we get to some performance mods.  These will be our first baby steps toward the GT3.  We aren’t swinging for the fences here with these parts but both of these pieces installed really add to the experience of driving this car.  The induction noise and exhaust really take over in the GT3, something that really lacks with the OEM intake and exhaust on the BRZ.
