Ranking Best Toyota GR86 & Subaru BRZ Tail Lights
- by Josh Kelley
The factory GR86 and BRZ taillights already set a surprisingly high bar. They’re sleek, simple, and LED-equipped from the factory but the aftermarket offers everything from clear lenses and sequential turn signals to animated startup sequences, trunk-light integration, and dramatically different shapes. Kevin compares 16 designs based on how well they complement the car’s body lines, how cohesive the lighting looks, and whether each option improves or overcomplicates the rear end.

Subaru & Toyota did a great job.. unlike the first gen these tails are actually LED from factory. Sleek, simple and most likely came with your car.
We say the stock tail lights are A-tier

Unique design, but in a great way. Matrix design on the lens. Great looking and short startup sequence. The top portion acts as a parking light or turn signal and like other tail lights the turn signal wraps around the entire assembly.
Smoked or Red lens are available. Kevin even has the red ones on his own car. Pairs well with the VLAND Headlights!
