GR Performance Air Intake - 2022+ Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ

This is the best bang for your buck performance intake! The car feels like I just gave it a large espresso and it's ready for those corners and track laps. This intake gets out of the way of what the GR 86 wants to do. Big toe energy. Very responsive and aggressive from a stop transitioning into 1-2 gear (Standard transmission). I CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH! YOU NEED THIS!!!!

Installed the Driven Media GR Performance Air Intake on my GR86 and overall really happy with it. Quality is solid, materials feel durable, and it definitely cleans up the engine bay compared to stock.

One thing to note: when installing, I found that some of the fittings (especially the breather hose connection) were really tight and needed a little silicone spray/lubricant to slide on properly. Once I did that, everything fit snug and sealed up with no issues.

Performance-wise, throttle response feels sharper and you can hear a nice induction sound under acceleration. Definitely worth it if you want a mix of function and aesthetics—just be prepared with some lubricant during install to make things go smoother.

This intake is just what I needed. It is fairly simple to install by watching youtube videos. The performance gains are noticeable on my AT GR86. I would highly recommend this intake. If you want to get a CARB sticker for it, you will need to contact Toyota Dealership for those who live in Cali. CARB website states that this intake is legal for the 2022 models only so do with that information as you will. With that being said, lets get to the good part. Off the back I noticed that my shifts were slightly faster and more prominent and responsive. I took it for some pulls on the freeway and man does this car really wake up. This is how the car should have come from factory! I previously had the JDM version with the charcoal filter not included and i did not really notice any noticeable gains. With this intake I removed the charcoal filter with ease. I am able to put it back into place if needed. My entire experience with this exhaust was with the charcoal filter removed. If you want some noticeable performance improvements, this is it. Remove the charcoal filter... Trust me.
